About

The Kane County 4-H Foundation is run by a board of volunteer members who believe that 4-H provides a valuable experience for youth and their families. The Foundation raises funds to support the 4-H program in general and to provide scholarships to individual 4- H members. There are more than 400 youth in 21 community clubs, Cloverbuds groups, and school groups, throughout Kane County. Clearly the Kane County 4-H Foundation is not just for rural youth. With over 150 projects areas to choose from, the 4-H club experience gives boys and girls ages 8-18 an opportunity to explore topics of interest, make new friends, develop leadership and life skills, and contribute through community service. 4-H'ers also have the opportunity to partake in events on the county, state, national, and even international levels.
